Journey of "Numerical Modelling and Construction Engineering"
In the framework of the journeys Code_Aster libre, the last October 27, 2005, EDF and NECS have organized an exchange journey about "Numerical Modelling and Construction Engineering". This meeting has grouped Construction industrials as well as developers of numerical simulation tools in France.
After positioning numerical simulations into the industrial context of the Construction, all of the industrial partners have expressed their necessities about modelling tools. In the other side, tools developers have shown different possibilities of technical improvement on these areas.
Through these constructive exchanges, our main objective was to support the development of a mutual community, joining developers and users of numerical simulation tools for the domain of Construction Engineering.
